In the event of a failed order delivery, the situation will be analyzed and the outcome will determine the next steps.
(a) If the failure is due to the QSR (Quick Service Restaurant), they may be charged a penalty fee of INR 100
(b) If the delivery boy has reached the platform and the passenger is not available, nLincs will inform IRCTC and cancel the order. In this case, 50% of the billed amount will be refunded to the vendor.
If the train is late or arrives beyond IRCTC's delivery time (6am to 11pm), there are two scenarios:
(a) If the train is late by 30 minutes to 1 hour (beyond IRCTC delivery time), some QSRs may still be able to deliver the order (depending on the QSR)
(b) If the train is late by more than the above time frame, then the QSR will not be able to deliver the parcel.
